Call to Worship
Praise the Lord, you his servants;
praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
—Psalm 113:1-3 (NIV)
Come Christians Join to Sing
Come, Christians, join to sing
Alleluia! Amen!
Loud praise to Christ our King
Alleluia! Amen!
Let all, with heart and voice
Before his throne rejoice
Praise is his gracious choice
Alleluia! Amen!
Come, lift your hearts on high
Alleluia! Amen!
Let praises fill the sky
Alleluia! Amen!
He is our Guide and Friend
To us he’ll condescend
His love shall never end
Alleluia! Amen!
Praise yet our Christ again
Alleluia! Amen!
Life shall not end the strain
Alleluia! Amen!
On heaven’s blissful shore
His goodness we’ll adore
Singing forevermore
Alleluia! Amen!

Enough
All of you is more than enough for all of me
For ev’ry thirst and ev’ry need
You satisfy me with your love
And all I have in you is more than enough
You are my supply, my breath of life
Still more awesome than I know
You are my reward, worth living for
Still more awesome than I know
All of you is more than enough for all of me
For ev’ry thirst and ev’ry need
You satisfy me with your love
And all I have in you is more than enough
You’re my sacrifice of greatest price
Still more awesome than I know
You’re my coming King, you are ev’rything
Still more awesome than I know
All of you is more than enough for all of me
For ev’ry thirst and ev’ry need
You satisfy me with your love
And all I have in you…
More than all I want
More than all I need
You are more than enough for me
More than all I know
More than all I can say
You are more than enough
All of you is more than enough for all of me
For ev’ry thirst and ev’ry need
You satisfy me with your love
And all I have in you is more than enough

Prayer for the People, the City, and the Nations
Gifts — More Love to Thee
More love to thee, O Christ, more love to thee
Hear thou the prayer I make on bended knee.
This is my earnest plea
More love, O Christ, to thee
More love to thee, more love to thee
Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest
Now thee alone I seek, give what is best
This all my prayer shall be
More love, O Christ, to thee
More love to thee, more love to thee
Then shall my latest breath whisper thy praise
this be the parting cry my heart shall raise
This still its prayer shall be
More love, O Christ, to thee
More love to thee, more love to thee

An Affirmation of the Gospel
In the light of divine grace, we recognize ourselves to be a Church of sinners.
We require forgiveness daily, and live only
through the mercy of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He redeems us from our isolation
and unites us into a living Church of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

10,000 Reasons
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I’ll worship your holy name
The sun comes up
It’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I’ll worship your holy name
You’re rich in love
And you’re slow to anger
Your name is great
And your heart is kind
For all your goodness
I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons
For my heart to find
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I’ll worship your holy name
And on that day
When my strength is failing
The end draws near
And my time has come
Still my soul will sing
Your praise unending
Ten thousand years
And then forevermore
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I’ll worship your holy name
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I’ll worship your holy name

Sermon
“Father of the Fragile”
Matthew 6:7-13
Prayer of Confession
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the Kingdom,
and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
The Lord’s Supper
Peace (A Communion Blessing)
Though we’re strangers still I love you
I love you more than your mask
And you know you have to trust this to be true
And I know that’s much to ask
But lay down your fears
Come and join the feast
He has called us here you and me
And may peace rain down from heaven
Like little pieces of the sky
Little keepers of the promise
Falling on these souls that drought has dried
In his blood and in his body
In this bread and in this wine
Peace to you, peace of Christ to you
And though I love you, still we’re strangers
Prisoners in these lonely hearts
And though our blindness separates us
Still his light shines in the dark
And his out-stretched arms
Are still strong enough to reach
Behind these prison bars to set us free
And may peace rain down from heaven
Like little pieces of the sky
Little keepers of the promise
Falling on these souls that drought has dried
In his blood and in his body
In this bread and in this wine
Peace to you, peace of Christ to you
And may peace rain down from heaven
Like little pieces of the sky
Little keepers of the promise
Falling on these souls that drought has dried
In his blood and in his body
In this bread and in this wine
Peace to you, peace of Christ to you
Peace to you, peace of Christ to you
