Affirmation of Faith
Our world, fallen into sin, has lost its first goodness,
but God has not abandoned the work of his hands:
our Maker preserves this world, sending seasons, sun, and rain,

Prayer of Confession
Father and King, ‘who is a God like you, who pardons sin
and forgives the transgression of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
Once again, have compassion on us; tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.’
Draw us near by your grace.
Give us hearts to obey, and strengthen our resolve to be a gracious people.
