Prayer of Confession
Gracious God and Father,
your mercies are new every morning,
and your love is everlasting.
Forgive our transgressions,
and cleanse us from unrighteousness.
We are willful, weak and rebellious,
and temptation and evil are ever before us.
Forgive the secret delights we take in sin,
and the ways we nurture unholy hearts.
Wash and restore us to fellowship with you.
That you may be glorified in us and through us,
as we live in your vision of a renewed world.
