Call to Worship
There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord,
and shall glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.
I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart,
and I will glorify your name forever.
—Psalm 86:8-10, 12
Unbroken Praise
Praise unbroken, praise unending
Be yours, be yours forevermore
Praise untainted, praise unfading
Be yours, be yours forevermore
Be yours, be yours forevermore
Unbroken praise be yours, God, forever
All my praise be yours, God, forever
Lord, take this life, let it become your throne
Unbroken praise be yours
My surrender, my devotion
Be yours, be yours forevermore
Be yours, be yours forevermore
Unbroken praise be yours, God, forever
All my praise be yours, God, forever
Lord, take this life, let it become your throne
Unbroken praise be yours
So let my deeds outrun my words
And let my life outweigh my songs
So let my deeds outrun my words
And let my life outweigh my songs
Unbroken praise be yours, God, forever
All my praise be yours, God, forever
Lord, take this life, let it become your throne
Unbroken praise be yours
Unbroken praise be yours, God, forever
All my praise be yours, God, forever
Lord, take this life, let it become your throne
Unbroken praise be yours
Unbroken praise be yours
Unbroken praise be yours

The Solid Rock
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
When darkness veils his lovely face
I rest on his unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
His oath, his covenant, his blood
Support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay
When he shall come with trumpet sound
O may I then in him be found
Dressed in his righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

Prayer for the People, the City, and the Nations
Gifts — “We Believe”
In this time of desperation
When all we know is doubt and fear
There is only one foundation
We believe, we believe
We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And he’s given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that he conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And he’s coming back again, we believe
So let our faith be more than anthems
Greater than the songs we sing
In our weakness and temptations
We believe, we believe
We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And he’s given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that he conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And he’s coming back again
Let the lost be found and the dead be raised
In the here and now, let love invade
Let the church live loud, our God will save
We believe, we believe
And the gates of hell will not prevail
For the pow’r of God has torn the veil
Now we know your love will never fail
We believe, we believe
We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And he’s given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that he conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And he’s coming back, he’s coming back again
He’s coming back again
We believe, we believe

Confession of Faith
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy *catholic church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
—Apostles’ Creed
* ‘Catholic’ is the historic word meaning ‘universal’ – it therefore refers to the entirety of believers throughout history.
Our God Alone
Who formed the mountains
And filled the oceans
Our God alone, our God alone
Who took the dust
And breathed life in us
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Who came from heaven
For our redemption
Our God alone, our God alone
Who died for sin
That we may live
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Who rose again
Death could not win
Our God alone, our God alone
Who is returning, bringing a Kingdom
Our God alone, our God alone
We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone
We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia

Children Dismissed for Children’s Church
Sermon
“Clean, The Cleansing Story”
Luke 17:11-19
Prayer of Confession
Faithful, loving Father,
you know us and see us.
You know where we are weak,
and you see our sin and shame.
‘You hem us in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon us.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for us;’
wash us and make us clean.
Forgive our evil affections,
and expose our wicked attitudes and desires,
give us glad and grateful hearts
that long to know your delight.
And embody your grace
to a world that longs for healing and wholeness.
Until heaven and earth are one.
Through Jesus. Amen.
The Lord’s Supper
Jesus Died My Soul to Save
I stand amazed at your love for me
That lonely night in Gethsemane
This sinner’s heart can’t help but thrill
To hear you pray, “Father, not my will”
What depth of love, what reach of grace
O, how my grateful heart now aches
To sing it louder, the refrain
Jesus died my soul to save
Atonement full, applied to me
The blood that spilled at Calvary
Has swallowed all my sin and shame
I’m reconciled, in Jesus’ name
What depth of love, what reach of grace
O, how my grateful heart now aches
To sing it louder, the refrain
Jesus died my soul to save
O such pleasure, O such pain
The Father’s wrath and fury laid
On Christ whom saints and angels praise
Jesus died my soul to save
Come you broken, bound by sin
And let your weary journey end
Come and lay your burdens down
Where mercy rules and peace abounds
What depth of love, what reach of grace
O, how my grateful heart now aches
To sing it louder, the refrain
Jesus died my soul to save
Jesus died my soul to save

Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father
And to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost
As it was in the beginning
Is now and ever shall be
World without end
