Prayer of Confession
“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!”
Holy, gracious and kind,
are you God, our Father.
When we are weak, you are strong.
When we fail, you are merciful.
When we are faint, you are mighty.
Though we are unworthy, you are faithful.
Forgive us our sins, and cleanse our hearts
from wicked motives and impure thoughts.
Restore us and make us a sweet aroma
that reflects your loving presence,
before a broken world that longs for hope and peace.
