Prayer of Confession
Father you know what is in our hearts.
You know we hold on to pride and self-righteousness.
We act like we’re better than others,
and turn a blind eye to the needs of strangers.
Thank you for loving us while we were strangers from you.
Thank you for Jesus, who welcomes us home.
Forgive us, we pray, in his name. Amen
