Call to Worship
I will praise you with the harp
for your faithfulness, my God;
I will sing praise to you with the lyre,
Holy One of Israel.
My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praise to you—
I whom you have delivered.
—Psalm 71:22-23
Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee
Joyful, joyful we adore thee
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flowers before thee
Opening to the sun above
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness
Drive the dark of doubt away
Giver of immortal gladness
Fill us with the light of day
All thy works with joy surround thee
Earth and heav’n reflect thy rays
Stars and angels sing around thee
Center of unbroken praise
Field and forest, vale and mountain
Flowery meadow, flashing sea
Chanting bird and flowing fountain
Call us to rejoice in thee
Mortals join the mighty chorus
Which the morning stars began
Father love is reigning o’er us
Brother love binds man to man
Ever singing march we onward
Victors in the midst of strife
Joyful music leads us sunward
In the triumph song of life

O Praise Him
Turn your ear to Heaven
And hear the noise inside
The sound of angels awe
The sound of angels songs
And all this for a King
We could join and sing
All to Christ the King
How constant, how divine
This song of ours will rise
O, how constant how divine
This love of ours will rise, will rise…
O praise him, O praise him
He is holy, he is holy
Turn your gaze to Heaven
And raise a joyous noise
The sound of salvation come
The sound of rescued ones
And all this for a King
Angels join to sing
All for Christ our King
O praise him, O praise him
He is holy, he is holy
O praise him, O praise him
He is holy, he is holy
How infinite and sweet
This love so rescuing
O, how infinitely sweet
This great love that has redeemed
As one, we sing…
Hallelujah, hallelujah
He is holy, he is holy
O praise him, O praise him
He is holy, he is holy
O praise him, O praise him
He is holy, he is holy

Prayer for the People, the City, and the Nations
Gifts — Your Love Awakens Me
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
There were walls between us
By the cross you came and broke them down
You broke them down
There were chains around us
By your grace we are no longer bound
No longer bound
You called me out of the grave
You called me into the light
You called my name
And then my heart came alive
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
Feel the darkness shaking
All the dead are coming back to life
Back to life
Hear the song awaken
All creation singing we’re alive
Cause you’re alive
You called me out of the grave
You called me into the light
You called my name
And then my heart came alive
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me
And what a love we found
Death can’t hold us down
We shout it out
We’re alive cause you’re alive
And what a love we found
Death can’t hold us down
We shout it out
We’re alive cause you’re alive
And what a love we found
Death can’t hold us down
We shout it out
We’re alive cause you’re alive
Your love is greater
Your love is stronger
Your love awakens, awakens, awakens me

As The Deer
As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after thee
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship thee
You alone are my strength my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship thee
As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after thee
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship thee

Our God Alone
Who formed the mountains
And filled the oceans
Our God alone, our God alone
Who took the dust
And breathed life in us
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Who came from heaven
For our redemption
Our God alone, our God alone
Who died for sin
That we may live
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Who rose again
Death could not win
Our God alone, our God alone
Who is returning, bringing a Kingdom
Our God alone, our God alone
We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone
We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia

Sermon
The Hospital — The Church is…
Ezekiel 47:1-12
Prayer of Confession
God, from the time of our birth we were sinful.
We have not had one thought,
said one word,
done one deed,
That hasn’t been tainted by sin.
Even our best intentions and our kindest acts fail to meet your standard.
But with you, there is forgiveness.
Have mercy on us and take away our sin.
For Jesus’ sake, in whose name we pray. Amen
Assurance of Pardon
Put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love, and with him is full redemption.
— Psalm 130:7
The Lord’s Supper
Come To Me
Weary burdened wanderer
There is rest for thee
At the feet of Jesus
In his love so free
Listen to his message
Words of life, forever blessed
O, thou heavy laden
Come to me, come and rest
There is freedom, taste and see
Hear the call, “Come to me”
Run into his arms of grace
Your burden carried, he will take
Bring him all thy burdens
All thy guilt and sin
Mercy’s door is open
Rise up and enter
There is freedom, taste and see
Hear the call, “Come to me”
Run into his arms of grace
Your burden carried, he will take
Jesus there is waiting
Patiently for thee
Hear him gently calling
“Come, oh, come to me”
“Come, oh, come to me”
“Come, oh, come to me”
There is freedom, taste and see
Hear the call, “Come to me”
Run into his arms of grace
Your burden carried, he will take
There is freedom, taste and see
Hear the call, “Come to me”
Run into his arms of grace
Your burden carried, he will take

Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father
And to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost
As it was in the beginning
Is now and ever shall be
World without end
